Community gardening in Fort Worth?

My son has been interested in plants for a long time. He is trying to grow things in his apartment. I was talking to him today and he never heard of community gardening. When I told him about it he got real excited.
I am going to have to look on line and see if I can find some sort of community gardening that he can do here in Fort Worth. We do not have a car so he would have to get to the place by bus.

I love plants also and have for all my life. When the weather gets warm here I am going to try and do some plants. I am not sure what I can do. It will have to be indoors or out on the patio. The patio is not that big but it is up on the second floor. It gets a couple of hours of good light in the morning when the sun come up.

When I can get the money I will also get an aquarium for the apartment. I will be happy to just have a few live aquarium plants and a snail or two. I am pretty good with fish tanks. I taught a non-credit class one time at community college. My wife, now ex-wife, and I had a tropical fish shop in Kansas City (MO) for four years a long long time ago.
I had the best aquarium plants in KC for those four years. I also made up and sold my own line of fish medications.
