When we moved into this apartment their were fleas here.  They had put in new carpet and everything.  Russell and I got rid of the fleas in short order.  We sprayed the carpet and I used the vacuum cleaner often.  Thank God they are gone.  I hate bugs.
We have been in this apartment now for almost three months and I have not seen one bug.
In Miami at both the places we lived we had an ant problem.  I could kill them off for awhile but they would return.

We are on the second floor and that may help here.  Of course the first place we lived in Miami was on the second floor and we lived there about 4 years.  We had a major ant problem there.

I like this apartment.  It is quite.  The second place we had in Miami was on a busy street and we had a lot of traffic sounds.
The people  here are quite.  I never hear anyone.  No loud music or anything at all.
The people here all seem very nice.
I am in a middle apartment.  I sort of wish I was on the east or west side of the apartment complex.  If I was on one of those sides I could see the sunset or rise.  From my living room I can see the east but part of the sky is blocked and from my bedroom I can see the west but part of the sky is blocked.
This part of Fort Worth seems to be up on a hill.  I am in the west part of Fort Worth.  I think this might be a good location for ham radio for me.  Not that I can put up an outside antenna.  I will just have to make do with an indoor antenna.

I wish I had got cable TV.  I should have just let them run the cable across the carpet in the living room and into my bedroom on the floor.  We do not have anything in the living room.  Yes.. we have a nice big empty living room.  Hay.. it makes it easy to vacuum.
