"A handcuffed DUI suspect escaped custody and fled into a murky, muddy drain tunnel early Friday morning, forcing police to go in after him.
Warning: Video contains graphic language.
The incident happened at about 4:45 on Stemmons Freeway in front of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, where a Department of Public Safety trooper had arrested a DUI suspect.
Once handcuffed, the suspect broke free and fled on foot. The young man crawled into a small drainage tunnel just north of the AAC, where Dallas police officers were forced to follow.
Photojournalist Terry Van Sickle followed officers as they made their way through the maze of tunnels and apprehended the suspect about 30 minutes later. Officials said the man had slipped the cuffs from his back to his front.
Police said the suspect resisted and tried to flee again but that officers were able to subdue him.
The suspect is in custody and facing DWI and felony escape charges."
OH cute kid… I am sure they can find a nice cell to put him in with some nice cellmate to look out after him. All the kid needs a few hugs. Smile
