Ken says he will take me to The UPS Store for boxes on Thursday. Then I can start to box up my stuff. I will feel much better when I have everything in boxes.
I am glad we are flying and not driving. A three hour flight is not bad. A 21 hour drive is bad … very bad for me.. I tend to fall asleep as soon as I get behind the wheel.
I do not plan to get cable TV in Texas. That is the plan. We will see how long I can hold out … I do not watch much TV but I am very interested in the news.
My plan is to get the Hauppauge 1200 Win TV HVR-850 HDTV Tuner. It is USB and I will hook it in my computer and watch digital local over the air stations.
I also do not plan to get a land line phone. I plan to use my cell phone as my only phone. I would like to have one of the new smart phones but I can not see paying $100.00 a month for the service.
